J-147 is primarily derived from curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. Unlike curcumin, J-147 works by binding to ATP synthase. Excessive production of ATP is associated with the aging process. In addition to increasing levels of the neurotransmitters NGF and BDNF, J-147 can also control this. In addition, J-147 inhibits monoamine oxidase B and dopamine transporters. It promotes brain growth by increasing levels of nerve growth factor (NGF) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). Most importantly, J-147 can promote the growth of new nerve cells.
